While watching the Patriots destroy the Oakland Raiders today at the Stout in NYC, I ordered this Irish red. The pint is deep red in color as its namesake suggests. It has a thin body and watery consistency. Flavors include chocolate, molasses, and some nuttiness. Not too hoppy. Although the beer has a pleasant aroma before the sip, you are left with a skunky aftertaste which hurts the overall experience.
